High-quality verification and validation of independent or third-party research project experience/skills by ETS, the world's leading assessment and measurement organization.

Research topic can be from any field or academic subject area of the applicant's choice.

Applicant submits research paper along with additional information to highlight details of research process and information sources.

ETS reviews application materials, conducts an applicant interview and awards scores for selected research attributes based on a rubric.

Credentials earned by researchers/students include:

  • Certificate jointly issued by KSE and ETS
  • Evaluation report with scores and a brief narrative evaluation by ETS

Applicants can use these valuable credentials to become stronger college or graduate school applicants, to secure positions or to advance their careers. Applicants may also choose to publish their research papers for additional recognition.

Applicants who are looking to begin a new research project or strengthen an ongoing project can benefit from 10 hours of self-study videos on research fundamentals and guidance, provided by a Princeton University professor.

Each attribute is scored out of a total of 100 points (from 0 to 100).

A Total Score (out of 100) is awarded, which is the average of the respective attribute scores.
